July 23, 2008 - Day 43
Well Mr. Brendan has gained some more weight ...he is now 3 pounds 11 ounces! They also moved him out of a heat controlled isolette into a non-heat controlled isolette. Today when we got there Brendan was in clothes that I took in for him yesterday. A cute outfit from Carter's with trains on it even though it is preemie size it is still so big on him. His first day wearing clothes! He took all of his feedings today from the bottle including the one I did at 6 pm. He also had minimal emesis (spit up) today. He was awake for the first half of our visit and slept for the second half. Brendan's next weigh in is this weekend, we are hoping he will be 1800 grams so he can go into the open crib.
